Michael Barba 

​

Michael’s journey has been layered creatively and professionally. While acquiring a master’s degree in architecture he also minored in photography and immersed himself in figure drawing and theater design. After moving to Los Angeles to practice architecture, he began creating graphic design, eventually becoming a Director of Marketing at UPN (United Paramount Network), then a creative director at various entertainment marketing agencies servicing clients such as CBS, Universal Studios, FOX Broadcasting, United Paramount Network (UPN), Apple Computer, Directv, Twentieth Century Fox, and Lion’s Gate Entertainment. Transitioning back into the architectural realm, Michael started his own business as an architectural designer, interior designer and general contractor.

Now living in Palm Springs, California, and devoting his energies full time to artistic pursuits,  Michael is a painter, a future gallery owner and the owner of a painting classroom/studio.
